Additional Information
Applications and deployment
The ICS-1I5O expands one EtherCAT network connection into five independent branches. A branch can fail, join or leave dynamically without affecting the operating state of the other branches, making the unit suitable for real-time communications inside robots, machine tools and multi-axis control systems.
The unit supports multi-level cascading and does not consume an EtherCAT slave ID. Final configuration is subject to the model specifications or datasheet.
